Dear friend,
Let me introduce myself and tell you why I have created "XtremeTeenFitness.com" for you.
My name is Matthew Flinton and I have been a professional educator and an advocate for teen fitness for over 10 years.
I have worked as a social studies teacher at the middle school and high school levels. I also had the opportunity to coach football, basketball and boys track for a number of years. I actually was the head boys track coach at my high school for 6 of those years.
The good Lord then decided I needed to transition into school administration so I am currently a school principal.
I have always encouraged and modeled healthy living to my athletes so they can also improve their overall physical and mental health.
Though throughout my years in education, I have discovered a major "PROBLEM."
The problem is many of our kids today are completely out of shape and are experiencing adult health problems resulting from their over-eating and lack of physical exercise.
A terrible diet... burgers and fries everyday... and zero exercise have resulted in many obese and out of shape teens.
Diabetes, heart disease,and high blood pressure are just a few of the dangerous conditions we are seeing in our youth.
Obviously, not all kids are obese and are battling these conditions but I do truly believe all of our kids need to be exposed to the right information and strategies for their improved health and conditioning.
There is a lot of current research that shows improved teen fitness can improve student learning in the classroom.
I decided I wanted to help not only the kids I see everyday at school but kids all over the world with these tips and routines that I know can and will transform you in every aspect of your life! I know they work because they have worked for my own athletes as well as myself!
