Xtreme Core Training

I am so glad you discovered this information regarding xtreme core training! I know if you implement this information in your fitness routine... you too will experience tremendous results!

My first experience with core training was when I was only 8 years old. You see I had a friend at school who asked me if I would like to play football on his football team.

Well.. I had never played organized sports before but I was definitely excited about the opportunity. So, I went home that night and asked my mom if I could play. Now mind you, I grew up with 3 brothers so we were always running around and getting in trouble so I guess my mom thought this would be a good way to re-direct some of my energy or at least get me out of the house for awhile.

So the next day I told my buddy I could play. My very first practice is when I discovered an exercise that I still do to this day. Now this core training exercise is effective but I must tell you... it is truly brutal! The exercise I am referring to is "leg lifts"

Okay, leg lifts... basically you lay on your back and you lift your legs off the ground about 6 inches. I can still hear my coach, " 6 inches boys... not 12 but 6 inches... don't cheat... your only cheating yourself!"

I remember these to be extremely brutal! But I 'll tell you what... they worked!

Another great exercise I discoverd for xtreme core training was actually when I was working as a fitness trainer in college.

One evening I was working and I saw a member come in with a strange piece of equipment. You see my job as a fitness trainer was to train new members and create an individualized workout program for them.

Well... after I trained these members I would walk the facility and basically talk with the other members. I occasionally worked out myself but that's another story.

Anyway... one evening I'm in there talking to one of my friends and I see this guy on the floor with what I thought was a wheel. As I walked closer to him I discoverd that's exactly what it was. It was an ab wheel or some people refer to it as a power wheel.

Basically, this is a small wheel with handles on the side. You kneel on the floor and roll this wheel out in front of you.

I'm telling you what ... this exercise is a killer!

This exercise not only will rip up your abs but it also strengthens your shoulders, chest, and arms. This is one of the greatest exercises you can do for improved strength in your core!

I would recommend you start off fairly slow and try to rep out 20 or 25. As you become more comfortable with the movement shoot for 50, 75 or even 100 repetitions.

I'm telling what... these will fry your abs, chest and arms... before long you will begin to feel the incredible strength in your entire upper body.

Again, both of these exercises are fairly simple... you don't have to stand on your head or do some other weird exercise to experience incredible results. Now you will have to focus your mind and push yourself because both of these execises are intense... that's why I refer to them as xtreme!!

I am confidant if you stay consistent with your fitness program and take action today... you too will achieve all of your fitness goals! I always say... if you bring the effort, I will supply the appropriate strategies. With that combo, we will most definitely have success!
