Teen Power and Fitness Tips
Discover Your Destined Teen Power and Fitness!!
If you are looking to add functional size and strength to your body then keep reading!
Now if you just want to gain weight/fat... stop reading this information! Go directly to your kitchen and gather all the chips, cookies and carbonated drinks you can find... then go sit on your couch and begin watching endless episodes of Jerry Springer.
You will definitely gain weight this way though the weight will be totally worthless. You will become a total lard-ass.
Now this may seem extreme but I know many kids your age who do this very thing everyday of their lives, This has become their daily routine.
Now... if you want to gain funtional size and strength keep reading. Your destined teen power and fitness goals await you!
I went from a 175 pound kid in high school to a 250 pound man who has true functional strength. What do I mean by functional strength... well, I mean strength that will translate on the football field or strength that will help in other sport arenas or strength that will help empower you to accomplish any goal or desire you may have for your life. Your confidence will shoot through the roof!!
How did I increase my overall power and strength? I studied and read information on how to accomplish my goals. Then I implemented the techniques and strategies in my own workouts. Guess what? They worked!
What I discovered was I had been overtraining. If you are anything like I was in high school you are probably doing the same thing... overtraining.
I had been taught to work out each muscle group every other day. Well, this is just wrong information for an adolescent who wants to build their overall power and strength. Now this may work for some steroid freak but for a natural athlete this won't work.
When I got out of high school I was fortunate to get a job in a fitness facility and learn from my boss how to give my body time to "RECOVER."
You see... your muscles grow when you are resting not when you are working out. When you workout with weights you are tearing your muscles down.
They then need nutrients and time to re-heal and grow larger than before. If you do not allow enough time for your muscles to grow you will never reach your ultimate potential.
Once I learned this, I began to gain extraordinary size and power. I continued to read articles and books on teen fitness and how to build overall fitness strength.
By trial and error, I discovered certain workouts that increased my size and power and also didn't keep me in the gym for hours at a time.
I discovered how I could workout for 1 hour, twice a week and make unbelievable gains.
Now I know what your saying ... 1 HOUR.. twice a week... I can't even knock out chest and tri's in 1 hour. Well , you can if you change your workout to specific movements and change your mindset.
I discovered when I changed my exercises to compouind movements and stayed clear of isolation movements my whole body began to grow.
What do I mean by compound movements? Compound movements involve more than one muscle group into the movement. These include squats, deads, weighted dips, weighted pull-ups,shrugs, pullovers and military press to name a few.
Isolation movements are targeted to work one specific muscle group. Tricep kickbacks would fall in this category.
The workouts I complete today are the most intense work you will ever do. With that being said, you will begin to grow like a weed!
These workouts put such a strain on the body many people can't handle it. They will quit before they see and feel the awesome results! I'm telling you...stay consistent with these movements and you will begin to feel more empowered to tackle any goal or challenge in your life... guaranteed!!
I can say that because I have done it.
