Discover Xtreme Teen Nutrition and How to Burn Off the Fat!!
If you are like most teenagers... your diet is pathetic!
That is why I wanted to write about teen nutrition and help equip you with some strategies to help ensure your physical fitness success.
First... I have witnessed with my own eyes what many students eat on a regular basis. You see I have worked in middle and high schools for the past 10 years. During that time, I witnessed what my athletes were eating and also what the rest of the student body were consuming on a regular basis.
I have to tell you... what I have witnessed is of major concern for me.. and it should scare you as well.
Well, what am I talking about?
I'm talking about starting each school day with some chips or candy and washing it down with a 20 oz. carbonated drink.
Maybe you choose to drink some juice in the morning... guess what? A lot of the juices have major amounts of sugar , which will sabotage any and all of your teen fitness goals.
Okay... after your breakfast you may grab some more chips or a drink in between your classes. Now mind you... this is before we hit lunch!''
Now it's lunch time. Let's get some pizza or nachos or better yet... the burger and fries combo!! This is usually topped off by a carbonated dring or some other high calorie drink.
After lunch, you know you are going to need some more candy or some hot cheetos before you leave for home.
This diet of crap is killing you and it is keeping you from achieving your fitness and other success goals.
What can you do, you may ask... well, start by getting up a little earlier than usual and eat a decent breakfast.
Your improved teen nutrition is vital to your overall success so...eat some oatmeal or some fruit. How about some eggs?
Focus on eating high protein foods and fruit for your breakfast.
Berries, grapefruit, green apples, avocado, and fresh coconut to name a few.
This alone will begin you on your journey to better fitness and health.
Now when you get to school, you must truly be disciplined.
First thing you need to do is...Drink WATER!
When I was still in the classroom I would only allow my students to eat almonds and drink water. This was tough for some of the students but after a while they got used to it.. and you will as well.
You must search for healthier options for lunch and please stay away from the high fructose drinks.
Eating healthier and staying on a workout program can and will help ensure your fitness success. Remember to take one meal at a time and after a few weeks of discpline you will forget about eating all the junk!
I know your teen nutrition and improved physical fitness will determine how successful you are in other areas of your life.
You will have more energy, you will begin to shed excess fat, you will be more alert in school and more focused in all areas of your life.
So, begin today with some little disciplines in your life... eating a decent breakfast, drinking more water, and please stay away from the junk food!
