To Walk or To Smoke…That Is The Question!

I was out early this morning taking a walk throughout my neighborhood and I witnessed something I have to share with you. You know early morning walks are great for breathing in the fresh air and reflecting on all the wonderful blessings you have in your life.

If you haven’t made this your morning routine I would encourage you to do so as soon as possible…again it is a great opportunity to give thanks for all of your blessings and get some physical exercise as well.

Well… today as I was finishing up my walk I noticed a gentleman walking up the street toward me. My first thought was how great it was for this gentleman to be walking first thing in the morning and beginning his day on a positive note.

Though as the man approached, I noticed something that was a bit disconcerting… HE WAS SMOKING A CIGARETTE!!

Now I applaud him for getting his morning exercise but come on… drop the cigarette!

I’m sure he realizes how this will sabotage his fitness goals…though you know the more I thought about it… we do this in many areas of our lives. We may start a fitness program but we continue to eat unhealthy foods or continue to engage in destructive activities throughout our lives.

We may decide on changing our financial situation though we continue to foster thoughts of scarcity and poverty in our minds.

Remember… it all starts in our minds.

Thoughts become things…so be careful what you are thinking about throughout your day.

Focus on the things you want to materialize in your life… not on the things you don’t want!

My intention for you is to identify exactly what you want in your life and then make a plan to accomplish it.

Taking early morning walks and giving thanks for all your blessings is a great start for your overall fitness and success transformation… just please drop the cigarette!
